JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Bridge Department Manager for our Structural/Bridge practice in Ontario, CA. You will coordinate the bridge project handle the age of the structure group, and ensure project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety. You will also support business development and client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement growth strategies.
- Mentor and lead a team of structural engineers.
- Serve in various project management roles.
- Coordinate with related practices.
- Handle staff utilization and assignments.
- Prepare technical and cost proposals.
- Participate in professional society meetings.
- Provide quality control and assurance.
- Support business development activities.
- Lead client relationships and engagement.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Engineering Management.
- California P.E. license required.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in bridge and transportation engineering.
- Familiarity with Caltrans standards and procedures.
- Proficiency with bridge analysis and design software.
- Experience with MicroStation and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to lead and interact with multi-disciplined teams.
- Background in business development and proposal writing.
- Experience leading structure-related projects for Caltrans or other local agencies preferred.
COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $175,000 – 250,00. This will be dependent on the experience and expertise of the incoming candidate.
