We are looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to join our team!!
You will provide a balance of consulting and strategic direction by partnering with leadership to evaluate, develop, implement and execute HR processes, programs and initiatives.
As the HRBP you will effectively formulate partnerships across all Human Resource functions to guide and deliver effective workflow processes and resources to support leadership, staff and the HR team with alignment to achieve organizational targets.
What your impact will be:
Plays a key HR role for the leadership team and facilitates effective team building of their assigned Business Units. Coaches leadership on value added HR programs including leadership, conflict management, expectation setting, communication and feedback.
Acts as a Partner, aligning business strategy with HR services and solutions. Works closely with assigned Business Units to provide the HR/people perspective to business changes; evaluates and contributes the people perspective to business cases, ensuring impacts are addressed and resolved to ensure successful implementation and compliance.
Identifies change management issues and works with the business unit leaders and HR specialists to develop and execute change management strategies and solutions
Fosters overall engagement and monitors and drives engagement actions and insights
Providing strategic planning and ongoing day-to-day support to the senior leadership team;
Providing advice, guidance and/or coaching on sensitive confidential and complex HR issues;
Assist in development of overall HR process and work flow procedures by recommending improvements or changes when deemed necessary for greater efficiency.
Translate business needs into integrated Human Resource solutions and provide strategic advice to leadership at various levels in the organization;
Develop and conduct internal training sessions that promote employee/ management development, including performance reviews, talent reviews, safety and wellness.
Works closely within the Business Units to identify attrition risks and key positions within the organization by developing solutions and deploying action plans to address related issues and minimize skill loss within the organization.
Lead the HR Merger & Acquisition (M&A) process and provide HR consulting of best practices on due diligence, while developing an effective implementation strategy to be most efficient with the cultural migration process.
In partnership with the business, initiates and leads organization development initiatives and interventions compatible with corporate values and leadership behaviors. Champions employee engagement alongside business performance.
Perform special projects or other duties as requested.
What we are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or other related business majors, plus a minimum of 5 years progressive HR experience, ideally in an HRBP role supporting a US and Canadian employee base OR nine plus years equivalent work experience. MBA preferred but not required.
Strategy development and execution –a solid grasp of organizational development and strategic direction to align HR best practices with business goals
Process analysis – successfully examining and analyzing internal processes are essential to identify what is working within an organization’s HR structure and which areas need improvement
Extensive experience in human resources management, including employee evaluations, engagement, performance, workforce planning, forecasting HR related business components, and conflict resolution
Team coordination –effectively communicate with leadership, staff, HR co-workers to build effective rapport, proactively share knowledge/best practices to contribute effectively to a cross-functional team
Communication and presentation skills – effective communication is key as the HRBP delivers new initiatives and training materials across all levels of an organization
Experience and comfort working in a fast-paced, ever changing and complex environment
Relationship Building – proven experience and ability to build effective relationships within all levels of an organization
What we would love to see?
Human Resources Certified (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP)
Experience with Mergers & Acquisitions is a definite asset
HRIS Systems experience – preferably Workday
Ability to balance both tactical (operational) and strategic accountabilities
Experience and comfort working with a remote workforce
