Lead Frontend Engineer Full Time

As the lead front end developer, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our web applications. You will work closely with our team of back end developers to create high-quality and user-friendly web experiences, perform maintenance on existing applications, and control deployments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of front end technologies (such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript), as well as experience with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, server deployments, and the agile process. He or she will be able to communicate and lead more junior developers and outsourced teams.

What you’ll do:

Understand business objectives and user needs to develop high-quality, innovative, and user-friendly web applications
Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code using best software development practices
Cooperate with back-end developers, designers, outsourced teams, and other members to deliver complete solutions
Suggest improvements to existing systems and processes
Stay up-to-date on latest industry trends and technologies
Take ownership of assigned projects and tasks, seeing them through from start to finish
Handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Troubleshoot and debug issues with web applications
Perform unit and integration testing before release
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
Provide support for production systems and deployments when needed

What You’ll Bring:

5+ years of experience in front-end development
HTML, CSS/Sass, JS, and Typescript
React.js and Bootstrap frameworks
Npm
Git/Server Configuration/CI
GraphQL knowledge is a plus
