As a Market Leader, you will lead a team of up to 85 Career Management Consultants (CMCs) across two markets.
These CMCs coach and consult with approximately 3,000 candidates annually. Your extensive knowledge of career coaching and ability to foster close relationships with other market leaders, senior career management leaders, CMCs, and staff in various functional areas will be essential. This collaborative approach ensures a consistent One North America outplacement model of delivery at Right Management.
Your primary responsibilities include ensuring CMC delivery excellence, team leadership, and managing the implementation of key initiatives/projects.
1. CMC DELIVERY EXCELLENCE (33%):
CMC Delivery Quality and Efficiency:
• Execute our One North America delivery model and ensure coaches are following best practices in meeting key performance indicators.
• Regularly monitor and analyze coach performance and coach-the-coaches (CMCs) to meet quality & efficiency objectives.
• Investigate, analyze, and resolve internal program or protocol issues which may reduce CMC coaching quality or efficiency.
Coaching Development:
• Promote individual CMC development through our annual performance review process.
• Participate in the annual ManpowerGroup employee survey process, ensuring CMC team action items are implemented in market.
• Ensure all full-time CMCs complete/update an individual career development plan annually.
• Conduct regular/ad-hoc virtual meetings with CMCs to discuss progress and coach for success.
TEAM LEADERSHIP (58%):
Management:
• Manage Canadian CMC project employees and full-time CMCs in the U.S.-virtually, and across multiple time zones.
• Build CMC team morale, cohesion, and effectiveness in a virtual work environment.
• Manage Right Management field consultant resources in Canada. Interface with internal project managers to provide consultants for on-site notifications and/or on-site workshops.
Communication:
• Communicate and promote organizational goals, new program initiatives, strategies, and service updates regularly to teams.
• Organize and facilitate monthly CMC delivery team meetings on MS-Teams to discuss program updates, introduce new initiatives, and build coaching team capacity through best practice discussions.
Recruitment, Hiring, and Training:
• Conduct CMC recruitment, onboarding, and training; work closely with other Market Leaders, CMC trainers, Operations Onboarding Team, and internal HR partners.
• Coach and mentor new CMCs 1:1 or in groups following completion of the formal training process to ensure alignment with organizational goals and expectations.
HR and Compliance:
• Resolve HR & CMC performance-based issues: consult and liaise with Right Management senior management, other market leaders, and ManpowerGroup People and Culture as appropriate.
• Ensure 100% FTE completion of annual compliance training.
Budget and Payroll:
• Manage a budget based on market size.
• Problem-solve and investigate root causes of any budget variances.
• Develop and implement cost-saving measures, where necessary, without compromising service quality or reducing team effectiveness/morale.
• Process bi-weekly employee payroll for both markets; resolve outstanding payroll issues with the payroll team and/or CMCs.
2. PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION (9%):
• Engage and collaborate with key delivery stakeholders frequently to implement career management projects and resolve issues.
• Key leadership team delivery stakeholders include:
• VP, North America Career Delivery
• Principal Consultant, Canada Market
• North American Delivery Lead
• Executive Delivery Lead
• Other Market Leaders
• Participate in relevant delivery leadership and organizational meetings in Right Management and ManpowerGroup.
Qualifications:
• Languages: English fluency required, Canadian French fluency a definite asset.
• 3-5 years’ experience in executive coaching, career coaching, EAP, or human resources.
• Experience leading a team of professionals in a virtual work setting across multiple time zones.
• Strong track record of making difficult/time-sensitive decisions.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in adopting and working with new technologies/processes designed to improve efficiency.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• ICF ACC or PCC designation, or provincial career development certification an asset (Canada only).
• High School diploma with experience, Community College diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree
