Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) invites applications for a Physician-Led Research Programs Summer Intern to join our Research department. This position is a part-time, 20 hours per week, internship, based out of our regional office located in Washington D.C. with a hybrid work model. Please note, this position is ineligible for benefits. The summer internship program runs for about 12 weeks with a start date of June 4, 2025, and end date of August 15, 2025. Reporting to the Manager of Physician-Led Research Programs, the Physician-Led Research Programs Summer Intern will support research initiatives at the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Research Institute (MAPRI) . You will gain hands-on experience in healthcare research within the Kaiser Permanente Mid-Atlantic States system, with opportunities to learn about healthcare delivery, project management, strategic planning, and research operations while assisting with physician-led research and educational initiatives. This internship enables you to work on impactful projects in a professional environment, while developing critical skills in real world health system activities and operations.

The starting hourly rate for this position ranges from $20.00 to $25.00, which considers an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and prior job experience, training, market data, and other relevant factors. Internships are non-exempt positions and are not eligible for employee benefits.
