Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) invites applications for a Wellness Programs Summer Intern to join our Professional Development and Wellness (PDW) department. This position is a part-time, 32 hours per week, internship opportunity based out of our regional office located in Washington D.C. with a hybrid work model. Please note, this position is ineligible for benefits. Reporting to the Senior Program Manager of Wellness, the Wellness Programs Summer Intern will support the Wellness Department in advancing various initiatives designed to improve the well-being of MAPMG physicians and staff. This internship offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with the Senior Director of Organizational Culture and Wellness, Senior Program Manager of Wellness Senior Program Manager of Mentoring and Onboarding across multiple initiatives to advance strategic operational goals for the Wellness Department. The intern will help develop, promote, manage, and evaluate wellness programs while gaining hands-on experience in the corporate wellness arena.

The starting hourly rate for this position ranges from $20.00 for undergraduate students to $25.00 for graduate students which considers an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and prior job experience, training, market data, and other relevant factors. Internships are non-exempt positions and are not eligible for employee benefits.
