Our story
Our social enterprise was created in 2013 at the direction of government and industry associations. The idea was simple: build a shared pool of resources, from employers, charitable organizations, public and private community organizations and many other advocates, all working toward the same mission of increasing targeted employment.
Today we’re a network of organizations with that common goal, and millions of applicants have used our job boards to find their next opportunity.
Who we serve
LGBTQ+ job seekers across Canada, the United States and beyond, and anyone who wants to work for an employer that values inclusion. Everyone is welcome to search and apply, and it’s always free.
Serious employers only
We only work with verified employers who are financially committed to hiring. We don’t offer free job postings. That keeps every role on Jobboard.lgbt a real opportunity, posted by an employer who is invested in finding the right person.

Proven recruitment best practices
For employers whose hiring involves immigration-related processes, such as a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) in Canada, we share proven recruitment best practices for reaching and engaging qualified candidates. We’re a job board, not an immigration consultancy: for immigration or legal advice, employers should consult a licensed professional.
